Gorgeous scenery in your pictures and I love the churchyard, must go back some time. Glad that you enjoyed it. xxAmy at love made my homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17111180584250029433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-35159574736038872052015-07-27T14:19:47.120+01:002015-07-27T14:19:47.120+01:00Congratulations on your 3 year blogging milestone!...Congratulations on your 3 year blogging milestone! We've visited Scarborough for the day or holidayed there and like the north bay with great views of the sea from the seafront cliff hotel, but the fishing port and other areas are interesting. I'd like to explore the castle next time we go there. The orchid was a good find.
Linda Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10634839688042592781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-21916712880125104262015-07-27T01:23:59.504+01:002015-07-27T01:23:59.504+01:00 Wow - great numbers for blogging. I've never been to Scarborough and I didn't know it had a castle.I can imagine the slightly faded air it has though, like so many Victorian seaside resorts. xGillian Roehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05080123177116154219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-2738429173191138712015-07-26T18:03:52.281+01:002015-07-26T18:03:52.281+01:00I have been to Scarborough many times ,and stayed ...I have been to Scarborough many times ,and stayed once it was the first holiday I had with my OH.
back then it did seem much better than it does now, the area tends to go up and down depending on the money coming in. Have never been to the top though (don't know why) so nice to see.
We often have pasties and chutney if I have no mushy peas...
Amanda xxAmanda Petershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16760505541954557539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-5654506980628909362015-07-26T17:23:24.909+01:002015-07-26T17:23:24.909+01:00Great post Julie, super photos. My great aunt and uncle had a holiday home up that way which we used to stay in. I'm not a huge fan of the town centre but I do like the beach. I've never been to the castle though! You took some lovely photos and it sounds like a good day!Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16043065727770116407noreply@blogger.com
