I hadn't heard of them until I taught some lessons to my year 2's based on bird song where we listened to some recordings of bird calls from different birds and then tried to imitate them with our voices and then glockenspiels, represent them in graphic form and then devise our own and create a piece based on them. A nuthatch was one of them and I found pictures of them to share with the children and so I was so excited to see one in Exmoor last year!xKezziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15705356707599121605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-70429830563005059832016-03-20T19:00:25.200+00:002016-03-20T19:00:25.200+00:00Beautiful photos from your walk. I'm looking forward to all the spring brings now too... 366 Days Wild had been really hard some days in the last couple of months and it should get much easier over the coming weeks!

I also have four weeks to go until two weeks off and I can't wait! There's wildlife trust work to do so not all time off, but a break from school is much needed!

I like the top left kirigami this time too.Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16043065727770116407noreply@blogger.com
