I don't think I've ever been to Rawtenstall but it looks an interesting place.Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16043065727770116407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-4465999661375081162015-04-22T12:58:11.189+01:002015-04-22T12:58:11.189+01:00I'd like to see the Halo at night too. You always discover unusual and interesting places to visit. I actually really want to visit the Temperance bar in Rawtenstall. My fave cordial is the Rosehip and Rhubarb. I am addicted! xshazzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05865141472266504951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-35500565037230028532015-04-20T21:27:36.248+01:002015-04-20T21:27:36.248+01:00 This looks a wonderful walk with so much to see..... I've enjoyed seeing where you went and the fascinating features. I like the stop at the temperance bar, which we think of as quirky now, but would have been one of many in certain communities at one time. The museum looks like an interesting place to visit. Have a good week! We were talking about that the other day - it is sad that we don't see the interest in preserving things and making gardens and displays. Once something commercial is torn down it is always replaced with condos and apartments - always. Such a shame.JoAnn ( Scene Through My Eyes)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12621061028973446378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2568952191231159130.post-61713305380100693642015-04-19T20:19:52.158+01:002015-04-19T20:19:52.158+01:00What wonderful photos - the gates in Rawtenstall a...What wonderful photos - the gates in Rawtenstall are amazing. We don't live far from the atom panopticon at Wycollar and remember it when it still had it's reflective steel ball in the middle. It is a shame it is no longer there.kjsutcliffehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02064786032612487652noreply@blogger.com
