Daffodils and sundaes

I brought these lovely daffodils home from the supermarket and then realised that all of my vases and jugs were much too tall. A search through the cupboards uncovered a sundae glass.

Let's hope neither me or Chickpea has a craving for Knickerbocker Glories in the next week!

Luckily we do have another one though because it was needed to measure out one of the main ingredients for a recipe I'll be telling you about next time. Can you guess what it is? (Rose, you're not allowed to guess!)

It's been a very quiet weekend. After dodging all the bugs and germs this winter, I have finally succumbed to the lurgy so I've done very little but rest. Of course, the cold couldn't have picked a worse time because I'm off work this week. TYPICAL!! I am trying very hard not to be completely FED UP.

I did have days out and activities planned and, hopefully, we'll get to do some of them. Chickpea won't be bothered either way: she'll probably just be happy getting on with her peacock decopatch.

Back in a couple of days with, fingers crossed, fewer germs. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. x

  2. Hope you feel well soon and thank you for visiting my blog. I got a great deal on Groupon for the tickets to the Cake and Bake show I think it was £12 for two tickets which I thought was good value. Also thank you for remembering Miranda when I wrote my post I couldn't remember her name - I am going back to edit it now x
